‘Innocence’ is a coming-of-age story in a society where everybody is tracked to become a soldier whether they fit into it or not. The film is based upon personal letters and secret diaries of soldiers who died in the army, taking us into a world of alienation and doubts, as they are being pressured, even forced to compromise their values and sensitivities in order to belong.
