"What makes documentaries deep, magical, and valuable is when people are portrayed by someone, who has actually taken her/his time to know them and understand their views on life."
Louise Hammer studies anthropology at the University of Copenhagen. She
has a great interest in visual anthropology, which concerns the using of visual media in anthropological research and in the representation of such studies. As a part of her study program, she works at Danish Documentary to explore the working processes and ethical issues that are related to the production of documentaries.
